THE_CHALLENGE
A cash advance lending company's underwriting team was processing every deal manually. Each deal required a paper intake form to capture merchant, funding, and guarantor information. They used two separate Excel calculators for different MCA payment structures, plus 20+ individual fillable PDFs (MCA agreements, state-specific disclosures, and various addendums) that each had to be completed one at a time. Documents didn't look professional and had to be assembled deal by deal. The process was slow, error-prone, and impossible to scale.
SOLUTION
We studied the entire underwriting operation: every form, every calculation, every document, every state-specific requirement. Then we designed a complete replacement. A single intake form captures all deal data in one place. Built-in financial calculators handle daily, weekly, and reverse daily MCA structures. We managed the development of a desktop application that reads the intake data, lets the underwriter select deal type, state, and required documents, then auto-generates every needed document (MCA agreements, state-specific disclosures, addendums) in professionally formatted Word and PDF, ready for DocuSign. Over 30 document templates covering 10+ state regulatory requirements, all from a single data entry point.
